Publications & Booklets

With the advent of digital printing and online file transfer capabilities, full color, printed publications are locally and globally available, and are very reasonably priced compared to standard press printing methods.  Books, magazines, newsletters, booklets and catalogs are a just a few of the options available in a variety of sizes and paper stocks, and are a wonderful and affordable way for anyone who may be interested in publishing a one-off coffee table book or series of informative publications.   In addition, online digital media in the forms of e-books and electronically distributed magazines, etc., have evolved into a print-on-demand medium or can eliminate the need for print all together.

An example of a print-on-demand book is an “autobiographical” book, titled “One of Many,” we produced using the Blurb publishing platform. The book design and layout was prepared in Adobe InDesign and the family photos were scanned and retouched in Photoshop, as well as the book cover; following completion, a pdf was uploaded to the Blurb website and books were shipped through their order fulfillment process. As an aside, a German edition was also created and shipped directly to addresses in Germany.
